A School Security Guard in South Africa is on trial for sexually assaulting fifty (50) school girls. These assaults occurred over an eighteen months period.
Two girls aged twelve and eight were the first to go to the Police to report a case of sexual assault against the guard at their Soweto-based primary school last Monday, October 8.
The opening of the case brought to the fore revelations that he had assaulted as many as fifty-two other girls enrolled at the school.
The revelation prompted the provincial education authorities to send a team of social workers to the school to provide the needed counseling to the affected children and investigate the allegations further.
